1.Programmed (Routine)

2.Non – Programmed (Newly)

* —Peter Drucker classified Decision making in to two types :

1.General

2.Unique

—* There are also two kinds of Decision making :

1.Group Decision

2.Individual Decision

—* In sense of political thought Decision making can be classified :

1.Autocratic

2.Democratic

* Simple decision usually need a simple decision making process. But difficult decisions typically involve issues like these:

1. Uncertainty: Many facts may not be known.

2. Certainty: Outcome of every alternative is known.

3. Complexity: You have to consider many interrelated factors.

3. High risk consequences: The impact of decision may be significant.

4. Alternatives: Each has to own set of uncertainties and consequences.

5. Interpersonal issues: It can be difficult to predict how other people will react.
